QCell has over 230 roaming partners around the world and is continuously establishing new partners. Roaming is available for both Postpaid and prepaid customers.

To use QCell Roaming Service:

For Prepaid users, simply recharge your account adequately to the amount you want to use while roaming. Customers can also conveniently recharge their QCell SIM cards by travelling with recharge cards as well as receiving e-recharge (fatt-fatt) from family and friends in The Gambia. Customers can call Customer Care on 111 for activation.

Post-paid users who do not currently have roaming service are required to pay a security deposit of D5, 000 before embarking on their trip in order to access the roaming service.

On arrival, turn on your mobile phone and QCell SIM card will detect a network by default. However, you may also manually select the network you want to roam with. Postpaid customers can enjoy data roaming whilst abroad. However, we advise that data be turned off when not in use to avoid incurring additional charges.
